Maybe, though she looked closer to normal Mane6 size, though that could be considered adolescent size given her current alicorn proportions. Then again, given that Twilight is now growing larger gradually rather than getting alicorn stature immediately after apotheosis, maybe alicorn growth is different. Regardless, having a shorter adolescence wouldn’t mean no teen ponies, it would just mean it would be rarer to see them, which it is even with the one possible case. After all, how many teen ponies compared to adults and foals do you see in the background? Even in humans it’s hard to tell teen from adult based on size, though. I know I reached my adult size at 14 (about 6’).
I think Cadance’s form between filly and adult could be considered a teen.
It sounded like that was basically it. You didn’t really make a point other than you think BP#DF78 is a birther. Allow me, however. Firstly, even as a Sparity shipper, I don’t think Spike is really an adult in canon (though I will not dispute people’s headcanons about that as MLP ages are left, it seems, intentionally vague. However, it is canon that AJ got her cutie mark at a younger age than what the CMC were in season 2 which, if you go by the original notes, should be around 7-8. It’s also canon that Spike was hatched at the same time AJ got her cutie mark, which would mean that Spike must be no more than 7 years AJ’s junior. It can also be assumed that there is no great difference in age between the Mane 6 (we know Fluttershy is one year older than Pinkie, which may represent the extremes of the age gap). Now, if Spike is around 8, that would mean that AJ could be no more than 15 years old, which is pretty close to the EG ages, and also matches with Faust’s original concept that ponies necame adults earlier than humans which explained their immaturity (and even though the show has shown that their childhood development is more similar to humans than IRL equines, even here many societies have adulthood officially at anywhere between 13 and 16 years, not to mention it’s possible that adolescence is still more rapid than with humans given we seem to see no teen ponies). On the other hand, if the Mane 6 are in their late teens to early twenties, coinciding with modern American young adulthood, then Spike would have to be in his tweens to mid-teens. Either way, the point is rather moot since Luna didn’t call Spike a “young man” but a “young me” and even if she did that’s perfectly in keeping with how we refer to children in the entire proposed age span that Spike could be when noting their increasing maturity (or attempting to promote maturity).
I wonder about your repudiation.
I accept your concession.
Are you still looking for Spike birth certificate along with Obama’s?
The first link says absolutely nothing about Spike, so doesn’t contradict her later Twitter statement that she sees him as “about 8 in maturity”. As for the second, so what? Are you going to argue that these characters are teenagers or adults for having a crush?
If it’s your headcanon that Spike is a teenager or an adult, fine. Just stop claiming that’s what the people making the show think.
Faust Interview:Age range.
http://www.equestriadaily.com/2013/05/lauren-fausts-twitter-questions-and.html
Interviewer: What was the thinking behind giving Spike a crush on Rarity?
L.Faust: When I was writing the scene in the pilot where Twilight met Rarity for the first time, I needed to get across the idea that Rarity was exceptionally beautiful. I came up with the crush at that point, and it stuck!
Lauren Faust stated “I installed Spike’s crush for Rarity to show how beautiful she appears”.Faust was going to ship Spike with Shy.But Sparity took off like a Rocket.
Spike doesn’t go to school, its canon. So he’s beyond 17 years old in Dragon age.Faust proclaimed the age range for the Mane six as 12-18 years old.
What about the show staffers that have said, clearly and unquestionably, that Spike is a little kid?
Yeah, but the “pony” part of “somepony,” etc. is replacing “body,” which is even less species-specific.
Mina was the writer’s oc, meaning theres almost zero chance of her appearing on the show for legal reasons. Last thing Hasbro wants is a Penders incident.
And for second quote, read the comic. The badguy was a fire snail that was there for no reason and nobody saw it or the clues it left behind. Looked just like a pokemon.
I don’t follow.

To deny the MLP GODS is to deny your being a brony
It seemed more like a Spike Micro, than a Luna/Spike Friends Forever comic.
It felt like the story was gonna have a bad guy and Luna was gonna have a bigger part…then suddenly, comic shop and Dragon oc girl and wut am I reading?
Luna was barely in it, a side character except she didn’t really do much. Her main role was transportation for Spike in the beginning and her ‘Celebrity’ was as good as a detective badge for Spike. Luna was practically a tool.
I didn’t hate the comic, mostly cause I storytime’d it but…what was the point of this Friends Forever issue?
Pokemon are bad?
Yeah, but people was never used until now in their case. Was always Everypony, even including nonponies.
Depends on your meaning of “people.” Personhood and humanity are considered synonymous to us, but the former actually means a being which is afforded the rights of a sapient creature. That means that self-aware ponies or dragons or anything else could be considered “people” but not “human.”
Speaking of ominous, Luna also said she they use to “Exile PEOPLE to the Artic north.”
Could she mean humans? lel
technically, non of them are hu-man so even if she did mean to say that, it would make no sence for her to say that.
She said “a young me,” not “a young man.” Which is a bit ominous given what young her eventually did, but I suppose that was the purpose of the outing.
It’s easier and more convenient to use >> and the image number to link to other Derpibooru images, like so: >>839118
And yes, Luna’s talking to Spike with respect, but I don’t see any evidence that she considers him an adult in that conversation. Obviously there’s no evidence there that she considers him a child, either; I don’t see how anyone can use this to argue for either side of the “debate”.
I think the OP was referring to what Luna said to Spike in this part of the comic.
