I thought the first “Fausticorn” pic was done by Faust herself on DA? (Of her as an overworked alicorn.) So she did kinda design it. Though, sense it was a B&W sketch, the colors were fan-made.

There are, like, 20 different ways it can appeal to people, depending on their ancillary fetishes.
