I only say that’s a possibility given Luna is piccolo and celestia is Kami. Plus with the whole alicorn thing. But I feel she is best suited for bulma personally.

Partially what saul said, but also because, unless I missed something, most of the first half of the Android Saga (up until Cell arrived) happened within one or two days.
They were also in less of a rush since, prior to Piccolo fusing with Kami and the Hyperbolic Time Chamber Training, the Androids believed (and were) more powerful than Goku and the rest of his friends.
Odds are if they did kill Goku, then they’d probably start their genocide. Hell, they always took their sweet ass time; all the people they killed occurred over around a 13 year period and they usually only destroyed one city at a time.
