I’d say what makes a pony edgy more than appearance is the personality created. The whole Disastral thing isn’t about sitting there crying about a bad life or some shit, its to (try to) make people laugh.

You can have an oc be bad at magic without breaking their horn. It’s a stupid feature that makes for a stupid character. Just say “Oh yeah she sucks at magic. She can barely levitate anything!”
But no, go snap off her horn because MUH INDIVIDUALISM
The whole point of her character is that shes terrible at magic, all for comedy, and the broken horn is the source of it.
That’s all it is. Broken shit on ponies is known to be edgy, but that doesn’t mean it can’t not be edgy.
You could try to argue against the point but you don’t because you have no argument.
And we’re done. Can’t make a case against a mind like that.
No it’s not something to make a character funny it makes it seem absurdly different from any unicorn in the show with a sprinkle of edginess on the side. Any oc with this feature is automatically bad.

Unlike most autistic features of OCs like accessories, broken wings and horns, Disastrals broken horn serves a purpose through funny antics because she sucks at magic.
