Don’t want to be that guy, yet I’m gonna say it anyway. She does have six stars, except the one in the middle is just bigger :p And yes, that other time in MMC was an animation error. Also what’s up with this show with altering cutie mark lately? Seriously this seems to be the trend from the last three seasons.

People always act like Twilight became an Alicorn simply because she created a spell, but I don’t think that’s the case, Twilight’s cutie mark is that universes symbol of magic, Twilight was literally engraving a new law into magic, she was altering how magic actually works, hence why she has six small stars instead of five, I don’t think creating a magic spell had anything to do with it
