Its the Brotherhood form Fallout Tactics (with a mix of Battletech clans) who are invading Dream Valley (the mojave) because they believe they everyone else is a scum sucking cavepony. And they have a code of honor but only follow it if you follow it too. And their leader is a cyborg Gilda (thanks to Big MT) but still speaks the same and stuff

tl;dr lets just say there’s a reason for the vast gulf between reader favs in >>78645  
and that its protagonist gets downright intolerably stupid at times. It really needs a ‘straight man’ character who is also smart enough to exposition obvious plot answers that the audience figured out 10 chapters ago (such as how Rampage’s talisman works/why she has so many different personalities)

Sanguine is from Project Horizons, which is a clusterfuck of bad writings stitched together in a mildly interesting way. So much grimdork and rape-as-backstory/primary story nonsense. Sanguine is a ghoul who is so irradiated he has Gojira breath and is nearly invulnerable to everything and a mad scientist on top of that. The heroine snags a bunch of secret project files she can’t open nor understand, one of which is a project he was involved in that also resulted in his abilities. All signs pointed towards a Trixie-ish goal in mind but then an M. Night Tweeeest derailed that poorly.
 
Also he fed an entire mining town foal and all into a rock crusher, and killed a kindly old preacher by melting him into the wall of his own temple. Then the fic did a sudden 180 and tried to make you feel sorry for him and want to giff huggies. Yea, uh, no.  
If you can make it through chapter 30 onwards without facehoofing you either only watch sitcoms or you’re made of stone. (it seems to be a thing of Somber’s to make totally asshole villains and then try to make the reader sympathise with them out of fucking nowhere.)
 
Steel Rain is just a generic tech-obsessed Brotherhood/Ranger who thinks pre-war tech is meant to conquer the world not be hoarded until someone else does, he is just sooooo boring in comparison. The only thing making him a true threat is he managed to find bigger guns than any other Steel Ranger. Whoopty feckin’ Doo.

He’s also a bit of a cackly idiot, not a cool cultist like Thulsa Doom or Mola Ram. He only adopts that personality for the summoning part and then he turns stereotypical RPG villain.

At least he didn’t have some retarded omgtragik backstory thrust into him from out of effin’ nowhere to make the main character suddenly feel sorry/sympathetic to him.
 
Sanguine was so much better off as a rad-belching mad science ponyzilla. I was figuring his goal behind Chimera would mimic Trixie’s goal of making the wastelands survivable through forcible conversion.

I thought it was funny that he locked himself in the dungeon near the end.

I did feel a bit bad for him.

I thought this was a ponified Twoface.
