Tirek got power of all of Equestria + Discord. Twilight + Luna + Celestia + Cadance = Tirek. It means Twilight something like = All OF EQUESTRIA! Yakies! She’s the most powerfull Alicorn. Yet as it is seen, power is not absolute, and skill often trumps power.
Crazy ass powerful lvl. 9 spells are cool and everything, but if they Imprison/Stun you before you finish casting them and then BTFO the rest of your party, they’re not so hot anymore.
While Twi may not have been at 4x power this time, Starlight was also no Tirek, that would’a … hurt.
