I doubt that, IIRC Tarkin was also a “Capitan” under the Republic (Clone Wars Era), And, Vader was a Sith Lord. I guess the “respect” given him was due to the Deathstar being under his command, and not Vader’s. Though it seemed that Anakin did seem to like Tarkin though.
Tarkin died before the Emperor became part of the story. And he outranked Vader somehow.

If you have wing ears growing on you, you may need to see a specialist. :)
Those ears are a neat and creative distinguishing concept.
Love the elf ears not so much the wing ears. Doesn’t ruin the picture for me just a little distracting
I actually disliked the “wing ears” too, at first, but they grew on me.
personally, I still think the wing ears are kinda silly, but the rest of your art is great enough that it’s not a big deal

If you look at some of JonFawkes’ earlier works, some people hated the ears. I don’t know why, I thought they’re a great idea.
I dunno, she seems to be able to oppress ponies just fine on her own.
