Does that mean we should tag screenshots of Fluttershy and Big McIntosh on screen together as Fluttermac shipping?
Neither is barely being in the same place together, but that doesn’t stop Fluttermac shippers, does it.
hoofbumping is not shipping
I don’t personally ship raridash, but I don’t see the problem using the ship tag. People searching “raridash” might want to see this?
…the Flutterdash shipper that argued Fluttershy stomping on Rainbow Dash at the beginning of “Dragon Quest” was evidence supporting their OTP.
Ugh, seriously? I just got bad memories of the Avatar fandom, where the rabid Zutara shippers were saying that the moment where Katara threatened to kill Zuko if he harmed Aang, was evidence supporting their pairing. Oh, and then there’s the Erevi shippers, in the Attack on Titan fandom, who see Levi beating the shit out of Eren as premium-grade shipping fuel!
So according to many fangirls…
ABUSE = ROMANCE
@Blackbewhite2k7
From my observations, pretty much all shippers grasp for any straws they can get from the show; my favorite was the Flutterdash shipper that argued Fluttershy stomping on Rainbow Dash at the beginning of “Dragon Quest” was evidence supporting their OTP.
Really? Because from what I remember Fluttermac was one of the biggest and most aggressively defended ships out there despite the Fluttershy and Mac are almost never so much as in the same frame together. I also remember rarijack shippers squeeing over every little stupid thing whilst season 3 was making its run. But ya know…Whatever…
Probably because canon-wise, Rarity and Rainbow Dash have BARELY interacted with each other. Therefore, they take what they can get.
Raridash shippers, just as a generality tend to be a lot more desperate for validation than a lot of ship fans, I’ve noticed, for some reason.
Hoo sha!
