He’s the main villain of Inspector Gadget and what Beau mean by “Dr. Claw” Robotnik was that one as Dr. Claw is know for the one metal hand, it’s better known then the Robotnik of the Soinc cartoon so to say someone is a “Dr. Claw” is a villain with a metal hand.

Funny you should say that, first time I saw an image of Dash without color I thought her hair style looked like Sally’s.

She looks really good as a pony, artist did a good job. Her hair kinda remind me of Rainbow Dash.

To be fair it’s an old pic made long before all the Derpibooru Sonic-hatred started. (It was reposted/duplicated, hense the “2 year ago” posts below)  
Plus Sally is a pretty popular character. (Even with those who don’t care for Sonic much.)

I wouldn’t mind a new SatA.M. reboot, though I’d like it if they kinda modernized it a bit like with the game characters sometimes appearing, (like the Archie comics) and using Robotnik’s game design, and such.
 
I mean I like “Dr. Claw” Robotnik, but he’s kinda outdated, and kids nowadays wouldn’t recognize him as Robotnik/Eggman. Some kids who grew up with “Sonic X,” and such probably don’t even know who “Robotnik” is seeing how he’s called Eggman now. (His original Japanese name.)

I was in the Sonic fandom way back when it was just video games. The comics actually came first, then Sat.A.M. came in and used pretty much all the main characters (only change being ‘Boomer’ became ‘Rotor’). Uncle Chuck was even a comic book character (who was robotocized as well).
 
The comics pretty much made anything in the cartoon series canon, including the name change of everyone’s favorite mechanically inclined Walrus (I’m guessing there’s not a lot of these).
 
Of course, Sat A.M. only lasted two seasons and the comics have continued on. I admit, I haven’t picked up a new issue in years… maybe well over a decade, but as far as I can tell all the characters introduced way back in issue #0 and the other first few issues are still running around (no pun intended), as well as most to all the characters created in Sat A.M.

Good point. I suppose maybe there is a bit to much “Sonic bashing” on this site. (Seems it’s gotten trendy on the internet to bash everything Sonic-related that isn’t “Sonic 1.”) Just look at all the “neigh” downvotes any pic with Sonic in it gets. (They especially hate the SonicXDashie ‘shipper pics. Best way to piss people on this site off.) :P
 
One similarity I noticed between Sonic fans & bronies is all the drama over “Princess/Alicorn” Twilight seems to be alot similar to the drama over Princess Sally getting new clothes/hair style in the comics. (Which hasn’t happened yet, but it was leaked at a Comic Con.)  
I actually plan on making a pic poking fun at both incidents soon.  
Fans sure hate change.

Really, I stopped looking at the comics around 2006, good to know the chaos emeralds are naw back to the way they should be, and sorry for the outburst, I’m just sick of seeing people seeming to generalize the Sonic fandom as a whole on here when I also see so many complaining about generalizing of this fandom too, bunch of hypocrites…

I still read the comics. I think her character got better in the comics when the current writer Ian Flynn took over the series in 2006. (He fixed alot of things that bugged me about the Sonic comics personally. Like he made it so there’s now only 7 chaos emeralds like there should be, instead of millions littered across Mobius. It also helps them be less of a “deus ex machina” to.) He also repaired Sonic’s friendships with Tails & Sally.
 
Also, I wasn’t generalizing “ALL” Sonic fans, I ment alot of Sonic fans I’ve seen are immature, or odd is all. Sonic fans are getting a bad reputation online.
 
I’m a Sonic fan to, I know lots of a cool Sonic fans, but I’ve caught so much hell from Sonic fans online, it’s kinda soured my love of that fanbase. I’m sorry.

It’s been a few year sense I picked up the comics but ya she was a little bitchy at time, but she had reasons to be, and do nothing is flat out wrong.

If you haven’t, and yet you responded anyway, perhaps the criticism is actually hitting closer to home than you think?

I always thought people said Sally got turned into a whiny, do-nothing bitch in the comics. Then again I haven’t read a comic since 2003. So I dunno what the hell’s going on anymore. I just know I want to tap that like a mighty thunder god.
