Honestly I don’t even think the Flyers would be the 2nd possibility. It could also be of the Hurricanes and the design also still has more similarties to the Red Wings then the Flyers. Here’s 3 images comparing the jerseys

The jersey more so looks like a fusion between the Hurricanes and Red Wings. Heck both still work pun wise because of “Wings” and the other is weather related.
 
I think the truth is it’s not truly based on one team but if we must pin it on any team then Red Wings and/or Hurricanes is the way to go.
