little work on my army needed a break from my new main project

Whilst I’ve not used centurions myself, I’m aware of what they can do if they get up close, so I usually just either mass-fire on them with one of my squads, or use anti-tank weapons on them. They don’t have an invulnerable save and are usually in tiny units, and that makes them relatively easy to deal with.
Personally I found the centurions were a complete waste of points.
They’re a pain to paint, and they fall too easily to low AP weaponry.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a squad of them last more than a couple of turns.
I think the most obvious one for Adagio there would be a predator tank, although I have personally found the sponsons on these things are ridiculously flimsy. The guns snap off in no time when transporting them.
(I have one for each marine army I have, so that’d make…
Mental calculations…
Old marine force, Chaos Marines, Dark Angels, Hello Kitty Marines, Pony Marines (Cheerilee), Space Wolves and Blood Angels…
7 of them).
Always equipped them the same. Twin Las Cannons in the turret for anti tank, and heavy bolter sponsons for dealing with infantry and light vehicles.
Except for the Kitty one, which has an auto cannon turret, and the Blood Angels one which has the twin linked assault cannons.
Another option I could suggest would be the Forge World Whirlwind Scorpius. Brilliant variant, extortionate price tag on the model though (it’s Forge World, what do you expect). I’d have to dig around for the rules- they’re in one of the Horus Heresy campaign books. I’m pretty sure the Scorpius fires D3 templates instead of just 1 if it didn’t move that turn. And seeing as the best way I’ve found to use these tanks is to hide them behind a building and fire indirect barrages with them so the enemy can’t deal with them easily it suits my tactics just fine.
I take it the air support is proving invaluable in your games then?
That’d make it 4 fliers. You’ve matched my own pony army’s numbers in the air, if not their firepower.
(My force has Derpy Storm Raven, Flitter and Cloud Chaser Storm Talons, and the Gilda themed Fire Raptor. The Wonderbolts themed Thunderhawk gunship I was building hasn’t seen any progress this year yet, although I did just have to repair one of the braces inside it which had broken loose).
Nice work here, although in Equestria girls form she may look out of place with the rest of the army.
Any intention of adding her compatriots here?
I’m currently working on a rhino with Adagio on it to go with these two >>848742, although I’ve got to do a drawing for the back of it yet seeing as Dan Makuman still hasn’t done one of Adagio to match the other two.
Because the Emperor commands it!
