There’s no way someone has watched this show and still completely missed the fact that not only has Spike shown an occasional maturity surpassing those of his friends (he just gets his with the idiot stone just like they do, only that people make a bigger deal with it happens to him), but that also, physically-speaking, he’s got way more advantages that most of them, despite still being an infant. He’s been shown carrying many times his own weight and size, can casually take damage that would (and has) sent ponies to the hospital, can bite through virtually any non-magical material, and can breathe fire hot enough to melt wrought iron in 2 seconds. Lets just throw in his ability to become Godzilla by being greedy. Him not being as fast as RD means little compared to the many advantages he holds, and the many more he’ll get as he ages. He just doesn’t get to showcase them as much as the others because of plot.

Spike’s actually pretty darn capable. He manages to lift and carry things many times his size with seemingly relative ease.

Considering Spike is MLP’s rough equivalent of those people who say Seto Kaiba could beat Goku cuz he’s a better fist fighter than normal dudes, I fear your argument is invalid. Spike’s feats ~~physical, mental, and emotional ~~ in-show are laughable compared to literally ALL of his competition.

Really? Raridash is the second-to-top Rarity pairing? I thought it was Rarijack (#1 is, of course, Sparity).

THANK YOU. Seriously, Rarity’s friends all care about her and would do anythink to help her to the best of their abilities. Rainbow Dash’s abilities just happen to be athletically based and therefore there is much more to screencap. That doesn’t mean, however, that she is automatically best friend/best girlfriend material. Not trying to be disrespectful of anyone who does ship this.

Oh, you mean doing the same things not only Spike, but any of her friends would and have done as well?  
With the only difference presented in this pic being the fact that Dash can fly, which means her “dashing” to her friend’s rescue a much easier task? Is that what its tring so say? That wings = shipping?

Because they barely interact in the show. I think it’s underrated. I like the idea of Rainbow Dash being the knight in shining armor Rarity’s looking for.

So is this, like, anti-shipping, troll bait, or what. I get the image, just not the reason behind it.

Yeah, but Raridash is the least popular M6 ship.
