That’s stretching things considerably. Those are smiley faces with petals. She knew she wanted to do something that would bring cheer and help ponies bloom even before applying that to teaching.
[Naughty talk]
Reinterpreting it to apply to deflowering, that could work.
Size difference fetish ahoy
I like to believe Cheerilee mis-interpreted her cutie mark, that she was meant to be a gardener or something
Hm… I’ve been checking pony sizes, and it could be. I’ve always liked this subject. :))
I believe he’s somewhere around Ahuizotl height in terms of standing all fours… :P
Still a pony, according to the co-director / his VA.
And vice versa.
Aye, pretty much this.
@Mr. Horrible
It’s an interesting little spin, plausible that there would be scenarios like it though.
Headcanon: Ponies can misinterpret their cutie marks, but doing so leads to mental illness.
They do seem to give their marks their own meaning. Perhaps, rather than misinterpreting it, he just didn’t see the application in being a clumsy sod at the time?
It’s like the Lilo and Stitch cartoon. Every monster they met just needed a good purpose.
It sort of plays off the lesson from Bloom and Gloom a bit, trying to teach the Crusaders that a cutie mark isn’t as huge of a deal as they’ve been making it. First they learn that it won’t really change anything about who they are, now they know that there’s no guarantee that getting one means you’ll actually know what to do with yourself afterward.
What if Rarity was supposed to be a jeweler but she was so focused on fashion she just combined her then current aspiration with her destiny? Think about it.
That is a strange, new thing, isn’t it?
