Giver her time, she’s still young.
…And, y’know, not terribly logical.
Sweetie Belle is still standing, it’s not very effective
See what I mean? Totes adorbs!
Stop trying to make yourself sound special, you’re not, shippers are not some misunderstood species. I’m fine with shippers, I have a huge list of my own ships, technically I AM a shipper, the difference here is I don’t obsess over them and go around telling everyone about them, I also don’t care for any “evidence” from the show supporting them :I
I’m very sorry to hear that, but I have already decided not to answer on TexasUberAlles anymore before zippysqrl chimed in and made his administrative voice heard.
And zippysqrl is just a hater, who jumps on the bandwagon like TexasUberAlles, himself, so I won’t answer on him either.
As I said, I’m not wasting my time with haters who rather insult shippers like me for the way they think with calling them “delusional” instead of trying to understand us and tolerate us and accept that we think differently than them.
But I hope you will find other comments by me that entertain you.
But CMC Scootaloo’s comments are so much fun; they’re like the Glen or Glenda? of this site.
“I could name you thousand examples where it subtly shows that there are more feelings than friendship between Applebloom and Scootaloo.”
You’re delusional. You see what you wanna see, but as soon as you start trying to tell everyone it’s fact you become one of those shippers, the shippers that people dislike, regardless of evidence. Surprise: nobody cares. Shippers will ship characters even if they’ve never shared screen time, evidence is irrelevant.
That last paragraph.. I just.. no.
Shippers gonna ship, Haters gonna hate, Trying to make the other party the enemy is fruitless effort, all you’re doing them is giving them more reason to hate you.
@CMC Scootaloo
No, no more arguing.
Oh, yeah, I almost forgot that! Thanks for reminding me.
I need my popcorn so that I can properly enjoy TexasUberAlles’ answer on my comment when it comes. * gets out his popcorn *
How do you want to know that?
It is not your show and you can’t know how far Hasbro and DHX would dare to go and it wouldn’t be the first time that this show does something revolutional no one would have expected to see in that kind of show.
You lean yourself very far out of the window if you say that they wouldn’t dare to show something like that. And based on your whole argumentation here, I can safely say that the only reason why you say that they can’t and won’t do that is because the thought it could happen scares you, so you switch it out and pretend it’s never going to happen under any circumstances.
Be careful so you don’t fall.
This is the exact way how hate against ships and shippers is expressed:
By the haters pretending that every single ship comes out of nowhere and that nothing in the show hints at crushes or relationships between ponies, because they hate the imagination of some of the ponies we know being in love with each other so much that they rather pick on shippers and try to keep them small by bullying them every time they dare to express why they think a certain ship is canon, instead of simply accepting it and moving on.
What they believe applies to some ships, like SweetieMash, which does have not the slightest support from the show, but not to all of them.
A lot of ships have their roots in the show. If I wouldn’t be too tired already to think of every single moment, I could name you thousand examples where it subtly shows that there are more feelings than friendship between Applebloom and Scootaloo.
Which you would not believe, of course, and shrug off as nonsense or deny, because of your preconceived notion in regards to this topic, so I wouldn’t bother to do that anyway. I’m not wasting my time to convince someone who is so stubborn that he would give Applejack a run for her money.
The hate against shippers that you mention begins not as soon as they say that a ship is canon, it begins way earlier in the heads of the haters, who are determined to crack down on shippers immediately once they say that, simply because they can’t bear the thought that there might be more than friendship between the ponies they adore.
You can’t blame the shippers here. Like, at all. This is not going to work.
It’s not the fault of shippers that they have a bad reputation for some people.
It’s the fault of haters like you and haters alone, because they portray us shippers in a bad light and paint us black because they view us as a threat for themselves and/or the show. That’s a responsibility you or any hater can’t escape from.
And haters gonna hate, no matter what their victims say or do, so I don’t take you seriously in the slightest and peacefully love and tolerate you away.
And who knows, maybe even you will stop being so uptight and needlessly conservative one day.
And if not, then it won’t bother me either and neither will it bother any shipper.
Good day, Sir.
Scootabelle will never happen. Heck, SpikexRarity is more likely.
You weren’t just voicing support for a ship, you were trying to claim that it was “slowly becoming canon”; I pointed out that there is no way that is going to happen because they are both children. It is a simple statement of realism that a minor TV network is almost certainly not going to portray any kind of romantic relationship involving characters who are far too young for such a relationship to be socially (or legally) acceptible.
It doesn’t matter to me in the slightest who you ship, have fun with that if that’s what you’re into, but do be aware that this thing you’re doing where you try to insist that there’s some kind of canon support for ___ ship is the primary reason why “shipping” has such negative connotations in so many fandoms. It has nothing to do with liking or disliking any particular ship– something I did not in fact take any side on here, by the way– but with the extreme partisan nastiness that hardcore shippers always seem to bring to the matter when insisting that whatever their favorite ship might be is supported by canon. Preferring any given ship and talking up how much you like it is one thing; demanding that everyone or anyone accept that ship as a thing that’s actually happening in the source material is something completely different.

And in other terms, leave people in their ships alone just because you disagree with them.
Because really all I can see when you make these comments every time someone talks about shipping foals is trying to make people accustom to your view in these regards, because sincere love between children weirds you out for whatever reason and you want to have everyone thinking that way.
If you don’t like such ships, just venture on and don’t try to force your opinion on people and just let us filly shippers live in peace.
They’re children, yo– it ain’t happenin’.
I can suddenly see why now. As happy as Scoots is here for her, it doesn’t need much anymore for a kiss. <3
