I’m a Lyrabon shipper myself, and they’re allowed to have other friends. Goodness. Though to be accurate I’m a really low-key sort of shipper. I just think that lesbian ponies in a stable relationship (swIdt?) are totes adorbs.
 
Yeah, I’m disappointed that in the least (you-name-it rôle)-normative setup I’ve seen so far in the show that we didn’t see Bonbon there. But I’m also disappoint no Octavia. Perhaps the quartet refused to play after last time?

The morale of the episode was about having multiple friends,perhaps another friend brought her there or she was picked by another friend,that’s okay. Too bad the LyraBon shippers missed that idea and went fanatical at the concept of her and BonBon not being at the gala together smooching in Public.

Well from how you worded her thoughts, it sounded like she was too concerned about how she looks, which is something that sounds more like Rarity instead.

Getting covered in Smooze slime again is the least of her concerns after how it made her mane and wings all limp with being soaked, and covered up the tip of her horn to prevent her from using her Alicorn magic similar to what happened with Shining Armor and Sombra’s black crystals?
 
Judging from the look on her face, that sounds a little more logical since she has to, somewhat, think fast about it had Discord not intervened when he did.

Well, now that’s she not drenched with slime like earlier, she can try teleporting them out, then try flying to safety herself if she can’t teleport out with the guests.

Celestia is probably thinking: “I just got cleaned off of the Smooze’s slime after he soaked me to the roots with my mane, wings, and my dress, and found my magic can’t even get out of my horn when it was covered in the stuff. Now I have to risk it happening again while I protect the rest of the guests from him?! Why me??”
