I don’t mind this edit. I hate the ones that remove Spike and causes the ones in the comments to start bashing him. But I don’t see this pic causes such problem, that’s why I don’t mind it and won’t ask to be removed. But if i see a removal is simply for hating to a character I love or to my OTP, i’ll ask it to be removed.

Pia doesn’t like the edits that remove Spike from her drawing either, it’s not exactly a huge leap to assume that someone else messing with her sparity drawings in this manner wouldn’t be appreciated.
 
Now, whether she’s going to bother complaining about this or not is up to her, but I doubt she cares for this.

Why not ask them rather than imply they don’t appreciate it? Given that most artists like to make others happy with their works, but at the same time don’t have the time to please everyone at once, I’d be amazed if they weren’t grateful to people doing these edits. They’re allowing the art to cater to even more people, without putting any more effort on the artist.  
I always make sure to thank anyone that edits my creations. Even if those editors get mad at me when I critique their edits. It is a shame that inability to cope with critique seems most prevalent amongst artists, regardless of their actual skill level. I hope Pia is not one of those affected.
