Because now people who only ever find pleasure is making others feel miserable for their own enjoyment have seen and felt the power of how those threats can spoil just about anything from a Gamer gate meet up, to making companies take down full episodes, and worst of all and most dangerous… Swatting people because it’s ‘fun’.
 
Yeah, Swatting has to be the sickest and lowest form of depravity so far I’ve seen. It’s super disgusting to think this can eventually cause Swat Teams to delay action just to check the validity of such things that not only waste tax payers dollars but that eventually some innocent family is going to get shot up live on screen while the troll just gleefully watches and laughs to himself how ‘powerful’ and ‘untouchable’ they are.

It’s still ridiculous (the sending death threats, that is) even if I think that the fans are just being foolish and think they’re being “funny”. Whatever happened to, ‘I don’t like this comic series any more, so I’ll stop buying it’?

I don’t even like DT but this doesn’t really do the story any good. Having Cranky do it feels, wrong. It’d be better if it was one of the CMC.

I’m rather disappointed. I was hoping this would have been Scootaloo who’d gotten frilly-frue-frued by Tiara and Sweetie Belle ends up pieing her in the face.
 
Guess personifying a brony through Cranky Doodle doing it was somehow more ‘funny’ I suppose.

Those kinds of fans are what lead to death threats and troll attempts at trying to get artists like Jenn Blake fired under the guise of her inserting an OC that’s ‘clearly a lesbian’ in a ‘kids comic’.
 
The world doesn’t need those types of fans being pandered to.
