What I meant was like this: instead of writing a fic bashing a pairing you dislike, why not just write a really good fic for a pairing you do like? The first option will make you look like you’re throwing a temper tantrum and annoy people who do like pairing X, while the second would prove that you’re a good writer. In the end, you’re left with nobody who’s upset with you plus an actual contribution to the world.
It’s pretty useful for me, if I enjoy it.

Some games are more plausible than others. Considering you can punch people through the Earth and punch them back the other way, and that’s not even one of the craziest ones, that one is low on the plausibility scale.
