In this image, Gilda is seen with a unhappy face shown.
Last time, I think she was really trying to use all the slang she and Dash used while growing up. Now that she’s abandoned that appeasement, it’s much easier to listen to.

A VO is a voice-over, one doesn’t have to keep the same voice between jobs for that, most just use there natural vocie in one.
I get that you mean VA but just pointing out the thing that “VO” stands for doesn’t work the same as a voice actor.
On the one hand, professional VO’s should probably not be noticeably different in terms of recreating their original performance voices. Even with Gilda being friendlier towards the end of the episode, it should still sound like Gilda.
On the other hand, it’s been nearly 5 years since Griffon the Brush Off. It was going to be hard to recreate either way.
Writers are smarter today.
And Gilda sounded different, like VA was chilled or smt.
