Spike’s reminds me of this.
Twilight 1:“another me? n-no, that’s impossible…”
Twilight 2:“actually, according to the theory of the multi-ah, it doesn’t matter! what are you doing here?”
Pinkie 1:“a mirror match? why do games still have those?”
Pinkie 2:“and most importantly: why do YOU get to be Pinkie 1?”
Applejack 1:“another me? how in tarnation did that happen?!”
Applejack 2:“to be honest, i have no idea”
Rainbow Dash 1:“i know that a lot of ponies want to be like me, but that’s ridiculous!”
Rainbow Dash 2:“hey! you’re the one who’s trying to be like me!”
Rarity 1:“shamelessly copying my style like that is simply unforgivable!”
Rarity 2:”your style? I was clearly the one who came up with this style”
Fluttershy 1:“uhm, excuse me but…who exactly are you?”
Fluttershy 2:“well, i guess i’m you, apparently…”
Spike 1:“another me? what’s this, some cheap comic book plot?”
Spike 2:“i’ve seen this kind of plot in comics at least 100 times before, but i never thought it could actually happen!”
14,000 Pesetas
And for the Wii U as well. . . How much?
So, I gotta wait in a dark ally for a guy in a trench coat?
“Hey kid. Lookin’ fer Fighting is Magic?”
It’s premium edition, google it or pm me for it…Not exactly sure if it’s ok to share it around.
So what you are asking is for the team to waste all their efforts and just give up on the game? You are aware that they got the Skullgirls engine right? Why waste this golden opportunity just because they can’t use ponies anymore?
Then again you don’t even sound like you like fighting games in the first place. Also how the hell is the new Frighting is Magic some “generic moe moe animu fighter on four legs” when no other fighting games use 4 legged animals as the entirety of its cast. That’s like literally the opposite of generic. And it was already moe moe animu fighter when it had ponies.
Sorry about that. I wasn’t arguing though, I was stating facts.
Because I don’t play other games with the expectation that I’d be controlling ponies fighting each other. Other games are their own makers’ creations, and that’s fine. But this game was specifically created so you could fight as the main characters fighting each other. Without that conceit, the whole point of this game falls apart. It ceases to be “Fighting is Magic” and becomes some generic moe moe animu fighter on four legs.
Then why even bring it up if you know exactly why you don’t like it?
Some people like fighting games (I know I do) and some people like ponies. (Obviously I do)
Logic dictates that they will most likely like a fighting game with ponies.
And while we are at it. It doesn’t really matter if the theme is completely opposite of the show’s theme. Because if that’s actually mattered a silly fighting game is the least of this Fandom problems.
Also Fighting Games being boring is completely subjective.
There hasn’t been any gameplay released but if you want to see more updates They have a Twitter
And they just made a Tumblr
They also have a site but for some reason they don’t update as much as the others
I’m not a huge fan of fighting games? Sorry?
just kinda boring.
Why play any game ever then?
You get to beat the crap out of the ponies with other ponies.
And you also get a decent fighting game.
How is’t that appealing?
We already had a fair share of pony platforms and RPGs but no Fighting games aside from this one. Well we still have Pony Smash…. whenever the hell it comes out.
The games going to be an Original Fighting game now. Basically its going to be its own thing.
And the characters will still be Animals. Just not the MLP cast or related to mlp.
Then what exactly will it be? What are they going to do with it?
Fighting is Magic may not be a MLP game anymore but I’m sure as hell happy to see the game continue MLP or not. And I sure as hell am not going to tell them to give up just because its not something mlp related.
They got a lot of back up from the community plus more. Even got Lauren herself on their team. That’s not something that just happens.
the game might not be MLP but it will continue. And I’m very much happy it is. It deserves it. Especially after all the hard work they did to get this far.

@monolyth
Leave the Fighting Is Magic license to ARC System Works. They know their darn stuff.
I’d be less provoked by your statement if Tribute Edition wasn’t a really boring, elitist fighting game with no polish and a vertical learning curve.
