@Registered Anon The IUPAC prefers caesium and I tend to pronounce the ae as IPA [æ] (a in cat). The only relation between picture and element that looks obvious is that the name derives from Latin caelum (sky, refers to its spectroscopic emission line). Also fireworks (a common application for group 1/2 elements).

Which is true with all the alkali metals.
 
I just wonder what the artist will do with the higher radioactive elements that don’t have as much use, like francium. The most stable francium isotope has a half life of just 22 minutes.
