It’s hilarious how ridiculously OP the little guy is but he hardly ever uses it. Warps reality like Discord for funsies but can’t be bothered to go up against guys like Tirek or the witches in person even though it sure looks like he outclasses them. “Here, ponies, have a massively powerful artifact. Tell me how it went if you survive!”
 
I think the problem with Mr Moochick’s powers is, they’re very strong but extremely unreliable. If he faced the likes of Tirek himself, he might wipe the floor with the centaur…or he might accidentally blow himself to kingdom come. Better to give Megan and the little ponies some powerful magical artifacts and occasional advice and leave them to sort it on their own. xD

The armor is actually kinda rad. I want to see a reference to it in Equestria Girls. Either being worn or just on display. Appleyjack and Rainbow would look especially good in it I think.

Is it just me, or does the armor kinda look like the Pegasus Cloth from Saint Seiya (which interestingly not only came out the same year as G1 MLP, but was also done by Toei Animation also)?

Since Equestria doesn’t have humans in shape or form, a lot of people consider Starswirl to be Moochick. Especially since he wasn’t considered a ‘human’ in the show, even though he looked like one. (Most likely a gnome in that iteration)
