Oh, okay– you’re a troll. I was startin’ to wonder how anyone could possibly be that big of a jackass, but it turns out the answer is: they can’t! It’s a deliberate affectation!

Shipping is fun of course. However, is when shippers get so angry because their ship is not canon that they will start shitting on everyone else. However, when it is canon they start making fun of everyone else and bloating about “Muh OTP”. It’s against these loud, annoying people, not the ship.
On the other, OTHER side of the coin, there are the canon ship haters that can get as annoying as the worst shippers. Best example are the Flash haters that will downvote everything, even if the picture is amazing, just because he is Flash Sentry.
In other words, it’s against annoying people, not shippers per se.
I hope the homophobia was a joke because I have very serious reasons why that would set me off.

My problem with adding lesbians in the show, is that 95% of the time, fans don’t ship two female characters because they are “Progressive” but because it is a fetish for them and they like the idea of two female characters fucking each other. It’s just a fetish and adding a lesbian couple in this show, in my opinion, would pander to these people.
I just don’t want what happened to me to happen to anyone else I can at least appreciate that you can tolerate.

I never said that I believed this ship was 100% canon I said it could be hinting at it and gods forbid they should put one gay couple in the show all I want is one for the exposure it’s good for kids to see gay people can be good likeable people.
