GMHAA ascended into the gloomy attic of his house, looking for the source of what sounded like rattling chains and the occasional muffled voice. He expected to find some ridiculous piece of Equestrian “technology” or some manner of wild beast that had taken up residence…

Definitely agreed in that regard. I suppose the back and forth does make it more fun as well.
I honestly think at this point that no matter what I set as lore for such things, it would be a let down to people. There’s just been too many ideas from people and all of them are really good :P

Also, I recall something about a particularly angry girl and a young kid, but now I’m just barely skimming my knowledge of how the story had went. XD
That’s Part 4. Anjiro becomes a rock, Pearl Jam inhabits all the food Tonio cooks, and Yoshikage Kira steals Kosaku Kawajiri’s identity. However, the arc isn’t a Face/Off parody… It’s also a Groundhog Day parody. XD
Actually it was from… I think Jotaro’s saga? Something about some guy who steals a face and lives a guy’s life.
Y’know, the same saga with the chef who uses his stand to cure patrons of his restaurant of what’s hurting them… AND a face-rock!
Because one of the characters is The 23rd President of the United States c.1890, Funny Valentine, and by absorbing a part of the mummified corpse of Jesus Christ, he gains the ability to travel to and from other dimensions, called Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap? ;)
