I suggested the idea, but they don’t recommend to do pony smaller than 1m, the cost of workmanship will be higher than a standard pony.
Undoubtedly, problem would be the new company have to come up with a mold as good as the previous one. Unless the C&D’d company share them, they will have to go through that anthro pinkie phase again before getting it right.
Yeah. Then again, these companies pop up out of nowhere all the time to make knockoffs of many varieties, so I’d not be surprised if two more companies took their place if that DID happen.
It is always the International shipping that drives up the price tag.
Hope the company don’t get C&D by Hasbro.
The shipping cost would be the murderous part, really. I mean it’s definitely worth the cost, to have an inflatable pone, but actually having that kind of money on hand is a different issue entirely. XD I’d probably be quite interested one day, once I have funds.
Firstly, English is not their forte.
It can be frustrating to communicate your order, especially if you want a custom character/pose currently not on their catalogue.
The standard size is 1.5m hoof to ear, 1.2m snout to tail. You can customize the size, but they cannot work with measurement below 1m, either too hard or cost too much to you. They recently released a 2m tall Fluttershy.
They mostly deal in bulk, the larger your order the lower the price per piece.
Price also differ based on size and customization. From their catalogue, a standard size pony is from $400 upward if ordering a single piece. It take them about 2 weeks to finish building the pony and 3 business day to ship out from factory.
They use International courier service(DHL, UPS) that could charge shipping price almost as much as the pony themselves. But I have shipping agent in China to deliver at a lower price.
In case you are wondering. Yes, they do make NSFW customs, at extra cost of course.
Those are quite awesome. A few questions… how easy was working with Hongyi? What kind of cost are we talking in having these made and shipped? And how large are they?
