from the stinger at rainbow rocks, it’s implied she’s a shut-in (from the looks of it, only that board of conspiracy/evidence stuff is the only one with proper lighting)so, it’s still a trope/cliche but one that makes sense
Of course, the BOOKWORM character is the one with bad eyesight. Even if that’s the case in this, you can’t ignore that it’s an annoyingly common trope.
Yeah. The big problem with those flares in Chem class, as the teacher said, is that you don’t realise it. In fact, you don’t feel your retinas being damaged at all, and it could be months or more before the damaged cells break free and actually become floaters.
Always listen to your teachers! ;D
sorry to hear that. more often than not, it takes being actual hurt before we learn our lesson X_X
And I can testify that, when you Chemistry teacher tells you not to look directly at the magnesium oxide flares, you really shouldn’t. I’ve had floaters in my eyes for the 18 years since (the brightness of the flare actually kills of retinal cells which then float free in the eye).

Do you mean reformed as in “turning from her evil ways” or do you mean reformed in like, she got blown up at the end of the last movie and her scattered parts are slowly glorping back together a la Saddam Hussein in Hotshots 2 (which was in turn a Terminator reference but going for that directly would be too easy for a man of my tastes).
