The dark shadows of the royal spire trembled softly today. A royal guard gave me a small nod, raised hoof motioning for silence. I wondered what was going on.
 
“A dignitary I think.” came the whispered reply from Oasis, next to me. “From Equestria, so I was told.”
 
“That’s pretty far off, hopefully the drums of war have not reached the inner continent just yet–”
 
“uh oh…” came the whisper, as we rounded the corridor into the main audience hall. It was filled with the fury of beating wings, snarls, harsh words struck by irons.
 
“Looks like our Princess Stella is in one of her moods again, hopefully she doesn’t bite off the head of the dignitary while she’s at it.”
 
I shrugged with a small smile, gazing upward at the crimson figure silhouetted by the sunlight.
 
“You know how the Concord Flame is Oasis, all that fire goes somewhere in the end.”
 

 
Time’s up. Would want to polish this more, but the next painting calls.
