Just like how John Hagee said that the 4th blood moon is a sign of the day of the Lord, but that’s just blashpemy. How could that be a sign if 4 blood moons that makes up to a tetrad happened before, but nothing related to the revelation of the Lord? Plus, the Bible said NOTHING, and I repeat NOTHING about a lunar eclipse! The sun and the moon can’t eclipse, so on September 28th, nothing will happen!

The modern concept of “homosexuality” didn’t really exist in the ancient Mediterranean world; various cultures considered various acts acceptable or unacceptable under various circumstances, but there was no widely acknowledged cultural concept of “the same kind of love/lust/affection/attraction for the same sex as most people have for the opposite sex”. It’s the main reason why any time you see the word “homosexual” in a Bible, it’s a malicious mistranslation.

Redefining all legal marriage as civil unions would be great. Problem is, all of the laws regarding the legal benefits of marriage pretty much everywhere use the word “marriage”. All of the laws would have to be amended to insert or replace “civil union” everywhere. State and federal legislatures are universally lazy when it comes to details like this. And until the language is changed literally everywhere, opportunists will abuse the gaps and loopholes with everything they have.
 
Yes, calling it “gay marriage” is intellectually lazy, but it also deals with intellectual and legislative laziness that hurts the cause more.
