Um, what? Their third album in the UK was “A Hard Day’s Night”; in the US, their third album was, ironically, “The Beatles’ Second Album” (apparently a small record label released a Beatles album in the US before Capital got the rights to do so).

Ringo was cool. He does get some references though, he guest starred on the “Simpsons” before, and Wakko of “Animaniacs” voice was kinda based off of him.  
Also, in “EarthBound” one of the default names for your/Ness’s dog is “Ringo.” (But only in the Japanese version, though the other “Beetles” references in the game were left in.)

To be honest, it does irk me a bit when, jokingly or not, Ringo is left out in Beatles references. He’s probably the one I appreciate the most. His voice was a huge part of my childhood.

Cute….though Yoko wasn’t really a hippy so much as she was a batshit insane Japanese girl obsessed with surrealist artwork.
 
Actually I wonder how you’d express “asian-ish” in a pony design without it looking horribly racist.
