Of course, it’s no surprise, Menus have long been known to be the perfect disguise to blend into any restaurant environment. They outdo boxes, fake mustaches, and even the totally inconspicuous trench coat!
Also, in Team Fortress 2 the trope is taken another step further with Spy; when he’s in disguise, how he appears differs between teams. A Spy on the opposite team would look exactly like the class he’s disguised as, while the same color team would look like himself with a mask of the class.
Well…to be fair…most childrens’ cartoons always have the villain disguising themselves in a way that we, the audience, would immediately recognize while the heroes are 100% fooled. Even with said villain backpedaling to make themselves sound sincere. Just look at Team Rocket.
Maybe Twilight was all “Oh, it’s probably just somepony who looks like Starlight coughcoughAriacoughcough, since she’s probably still in the mountains somewhere, almost starving and freezing to death.”
If Starlight does that, she’s gonna confuse the hell out of the waiters. :)
Unless they’re a shapeshifter.
And to be more fair, if you can’t recognize her, it defeats the purpose of her making a cameo. :P
wouldn’t aria in equestria be a even bigger cause for concern than starlight?
if i didn’t injure my thumb i would’ve tried to draw that by now
Who else but Dio?!
