I’m lost in some episodes even mane six are not in them so would it not make scents for spike or applejack and any other for that matter to not be in some here and again they are all together ever time for only the most important things they are almost always together outside of that for like all things some times hang out is not as important as the farm in applejacks case but when shit hits the fan all are there to come to the rescue

Like it or not Twilight does leave Spike behind a lot, she didn’t even bring him with her and all the rest of them when they went to celebrate her birthday in Canterlot with Rarity in Sweet and Elite. And tons of other times. He also chooses not to tag along with her and the rest of them pretty often on his own.

The mane six on the other hand are called the mane six even officially for a reason.

Applejack’s one of the mane six. Spike isn’t.

That logic only applies as far as advertising the cast as an evenly-proportioned toy set. I can’t picture Twilight going to the beach with her friends and leaving her hard-working, endlessly dedicated orphan charge behind just because he’s “not part of the mane six”. That’s the one and only thing about MLP that destroys my optimism. Well, that and Katie Cook. I hope it’s okay that I express my opinion, particularly since we all have to look at the uploader’s.
