Speaking of Rarity as Pearl, I think Sardonyx would be better for Rarijack. The strong, down-to-earth one and the elegant, fussy one, a single moment of coming together that changes everything (“Look before you sleep” for Rarijack), and then a crossing of a line by one trying to make what the other is a part of herself on a permanent basis (In Rarity’s case, the end of “Simple Ways”) that’s finally smoothed out by the more down-to-earth one showing her friend the necessity of her being herself. The difference is that Rarity didn’t cross nearly as bad a line and that AJ didn’t feel nearly as betrayed as Garnet. (Mostly she just laughed, actually.)

I don’t know though, Rose is sorta dead.  
But yeah, Cadance has great parallels with Rose Quartz. & that would go great with a Twilight as Pearl deal.
