Applejack stepped carefully over a highway, avoiding the tiny cars and looked Rarity. “Ah am still not sure about this, Rarity…”
Rarity glanced back. “Oh, shush, Applejack. You will love it, I am sure of it.”
“At least ya go first.” Applejack rolled her eyes. “Ah am not goin’ to do any more modelin’ Makes me wonder why Ah even agreed to this in the first place.”
“But you were so fabulous as ‘Applejewel’. Why wouldn’t you do a little fashion show again here?” Rarity grinned, reminding her about the events few months ago.
“Just because Ah do it once, doesn’t mean Ah will do it again. Ah also remember a certain pony sayin’ how she loves bein’ covered in mud, and ya don’t see me demandin’ her do it again!” Applejack frowned.
“T-that is totally different!” Rarity stuttered a moment, before regaining her composure, causing Applejack to chuckle.
“Besides, the tinies will like it too!” Rarity continued.
Applejack’s cheeks blushed under her orange fur. “Well… for them Ah might…”

Yep, it’s my hometown. I might be slightly biased here but Frankfurt might be worth a visit. Chances are high he’ll come around some day anyway since most train connections in western Germany pass trough here. Things have improved greatly during the last few years but one might still consider the city centre rather ugly. Of course there are a number of historical sights and dozens of museums to visit (most of the latter placed along the river banks), if he’s into that sort of thing. There’s a sightseeing tour across the city with a historical tram on weekends. The Main Tower (half covered by Apple Horse’s face here) is the only skyscraper open to the public with a great view from the roof platform. Concerning food, he should try the Rindswurst (cooked beef sausage) and of course the Apfelwein (hard cider).
The one big advantage is the small size, you can reach almost everything on foot within an hour. But public transport isn’t that bad either.
