(But due to her using one eye most of the time, she has problems sensing depth.)
Gotta practice with my tablet! First colored piece I’ve worked on so far. Here’s to many more.~
*(Yes, I know that snakes are blind and sense heat through pit organs rather.)
I kinda like that species~
TGM@Blissey1

TGMI love you
He said goodbye to his friends and shut down his computer, yawning and stretching as he made his way over to his room. As soon as he switched on his light, he saw something he was definitely not expecting.
Lounging on his bed, her back against his pillows, lay a pony. Not just any pony, she had alabaster fur, a sky blue mane with pink highlights, and she was very large. She smirked at him as he stood, stunned in the doorway.
“This bed is pretty comfortable%” She teased. “Perfect for sleeping a meal off, wouldn’t you say?”
Without responding and without thinking twice, Anon flicked the light switch in his room off and darted out the door.
“Hiding will only prolong the inevitable%!” Vorepone’s voice called after him. Anon quickly opened the hallway closet door, darted inside, and slammed it shut. He froze as he heard the clip-clopping of hooves down the hallway. He covered his mouth and didn’t dare move.
The sound of hooves stopped right outside his door.
Several seconds passed.
Then ten.
Then twenty.
Finally, the sound of the closet door opening ever so slightly could be heard. Anon backed up, his foot hitting something as he fell to the floor. Moonlight streamed in from the window above, providing Anon with the clear sight of Vorepone standing over him, her hoof pushing her hair to one side as she stared at Anon with a slitted eye.
“Gotcha.” She said, just before she lunged at him.
~Sometime later
Vorepone was laying on the bed, gently rubbing her now enlarged belly. She grinned as it moved around a bit. She enjoyed the feelings, but she was getting tired. She nuzzled her stomach affectionately before she curled herself up and closed her eyes. Her soft breathing echoing through the dark room as she fell asleep happy and full.
It really varies and depends on her mood and condition. If she’s famished or angry, she’s not wasting any time in getting her choice prey into her stomach. If she can wait a while and feels giddy enough, she does enjoy teasing and/or playing with her catch.~
Don’t worry about the English too much though, you got your message across!
Huh, the more you know. Thanks for the insight!
@LemonDrop
She tends to herself well.~
@Keith Mowz
Interesting concept! Nice.
No, not even then. In general, snakes have decent vision. Mostly focused on sensing movement as opposed to colors, but that’s the case for most predatory hunting creature.
I guess I should have said “visually” blind. ^^;
@The Toaster Repair Pony
Oh, wow. That was completely unintentional!
no they’re not. they do sense heat through pit organs, but they are not blind.
they don’t have the best vision ever, but they can see.
