I’m talking about decision of Celestia to put every human in indefinite stasis, with random pop-out time. To put it lightly, it have awful consequences.
@Bluemoon1996
Civilization can’t exist without… Well, living, non-stasis, people. This whole situation in essence killed humanity. Not by ponying, no. Ponyfied people is still people. On personal level, groundless assumptions of Celestia broke entire families, bonds of friendship, livelihood of everybody. That’s >7000M of broken bonds. On global level, this either very, very slowly killed off civilization, or thrown it >5000 years back, on tribal level. All machinery, devices, even houses, books, factories, entire cities is slowly decaying without living humans. All this is lost forever. And why?.. Because Celestia don’t have faith on humanity, and made extra unnecessary steps in her little intervention. Allegedly “we would destroy themselves” if it’s was simultaneous. Nobody said that, nobody asked for this, it’s pure assumptions. Honestly, what’s better: Possibility of WW3, so devastating, it would throw humanity back in 80-100 years? Or assured Tia-approved death of many people, one by one, by wild tribes? Assured Tia-approved stone age? Possibility of WW3, that would create many orphans? Or assured, Celestia-approved way, in what every child on planet Earth would be orphan?
@Bluemoon1996
I was talking about the sequel, whereas according to the summary there are enough people gathered to start cities and underground movements.
Oh, just read snippet from revelation chapter. Wow, just wow. Aside from absence of mind-bending of transformation, this is x10 much more cruel and cold-thinking variant of The Conversion Bureau. Weeping Angels are nicesouls in comparison. And The Doctor at least had decency to feel guilty of time-locking Gallifrey.
@Bluemoon1996
What about ”Now only the scattered remnants known as the Human Preservation Initiative have retained their species” and “HPI constantly breathing down their backs” in the sequel description?
So… What’s this story is about (I don’t care about spoilers)? Is it yet another “Humans are Bastards” story? Does it have Kitchen Sociology dialogs about “ponies in Equestria don’t need anything because they have friendship.” or any other generalized unproved talks? Or it’s have TCB-like “becoming a pony is a best fate for any human”? How is whole “human genocide by erasing them” is treated? Does it have “high technology is evil and/or not needed”?
I want to read it, but I have my doubts.
Read all the way to the third fic when she talks with Discord and kinda stopped there :/
Ah, that’s always sad.
Have you read “earth without us” yet?
Same here… Kinda burned myself out though :/
And i I’ve watched it since the very fitst dayyyyyy
Oh :P
It just seemed like you were rambling/ranting about that XD
Well it was that or a whole species die a painful and extremely violent death
Um, what?
I’m talking about decision of Celestia to put every human in indefinite stasis, with random pop-out time. To put it lightly, it have awful consequences.
Umm… This isnt a conversion bureau fic…

Ehh, it’s okay :)
Well, I hope you enjoy it :3
Ah. Well, that’s what I get for commenting I fics I just started reading.
Sorry about that.
That’s all across the country; hell, the biggest group I’ve seen is maybe seven and that’s the sequel
I was talking about the sequel, whereas according to the summary there are enough people gathered to start cities and underground movements.
Well, it was that or all of humanity would have [REDACTED]@Darth Sonic
There is literally 3 people in all of Los Angeles… I think the depopulation kinda prevents that
The problem is that all purely human survivors are all universally terrorists apparently.
Seriously? None of them are open to friendly relations or trade? After the fall of civilization?
They don’t really bother the ponies because they literally can’t leave their bunker without their armor or else their brains will melt
What about ”Now only the scattered remnants known as the Human Preservation Initiative have retained their species” and “HPI constantly breathing down their backs” in the sequel description?
Well, without going into spoilers, it’s the diary of man in LA who wakes up one morning to find everyone has vanished and he is now an earth pony.
There is no ‘humans are bastards’ because, well, there are no humans to be said bastards :P
I want to read it, but I have my doubts.
