Both of you knock it off. Don’t turn innocent comedy about minor misfortune into some big debate over hurting people’s feelings and definitely don’t insult someone in response.

That’s actually what made me write the comment. I just felt sorry for them and how people seem to treat this. I waited the whole day for someone to say something along the lines “That’s a shame, I hope the person is not hurt” and when it didn’t happen I decided to say it myself.
 
They have a crappy job as it is (unless they chose it willingly) even though they work to make kids smile, and when stuff like this happens… man, I just feel sorry for whoever that was.
 
Plus personally I have a stage fright and I dunno how many nights I would have to suffer remembering this slip-up if it ever happened to me… that thought on its own is depressing =(  
Just feels not right to be laughing at them.

ya gotta feel sorry for the person in the costume, having to dance around all day on stage and then this happens. Hopefully they can laugh at themselves.

I just don’t really get it, that’s it. Also, you just might be right about your statement that there is no comedy without misfortune, or maybe I’m just too sleepy to think of any examples that don’t involve it. There are different levels of misfortune though and this one is kinda a bit too high for my likes =P
