Storywriter: This was actually inspired by a lack of a Marco model. Also those are the pony versions of Twilight and Pinkie, but I decided the ponies should use the Equestria Ggirls models in predominately human merged worlds.
Knowing Disney theres probably going to be evidence somwhere that Gravity Falls and Star vs the Forces of Evil are set in the same universe lol. Though the odds of a crossover seem pretty slim. Disney hasnt done a lot of them with their own shows (I mean yea, the Marvel ones tend to crossover from time to time, but all three were set in New York, or at least the Hulks visited New York on a very regular basis).
Mission Marvel, Morpholomew and Hercules and the Arabian Night are the only Toon Disney/Disney XD Crossovers made by Disney Television Animation I could find that feature two or more cartoons whose characters would likely have never met otherwise.

In that same episode Star had a fez, which is like a double reference to Doctor Who AND Gravity Falls.
Honestly when you have the same creative mind between two shows, there are at least going to be some references. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Wander Over Yonder also had some PPG references. I just stared watching it and Lord Hater is already reminding me a good deal of Mojo Jojo much as Marco is reminding me of Dipper…
