Son of King Rovus the lavish and brother of Vezon the Tormented, Rovus II became a vampire (and later a vampire lord master ) after the attack of the 1321 PE (Pre Equestria).
 
as mentioned before, he is a vampire lord master, namely from the Family of deers, and one of the species of the vitrung (comparable to unicorns).  
He is the most noble and aristocratic between the five vampiric families of the continent of Equestria.  
He lives in Castle Brooderthorn, in the depths of the dark forest side of Cervyderia, comparable to the Everfree forest.
 
He does not like to interact with other families, and for this reason he is suspected to interact with the living, betraying his own race.  
The truth is that he only still kept the old ways of the deers, very closed and not at all sociable with “outsiders” if not in forms or formal ceremonies.
 
Having over 1580 years, it is clear that he is the third older vampire of the Elder Circle (after Storm Blacktunder and Alamicchio the ancent).  
Excluding Marujadr the infected, predecessor of Alamicchio and now Lord of the strigois.
