Just because Galtieri was an evil dude doesn’t mean the Argentine claim to the islands is illegitimate. The main difference between the two sides is that the British successfully did in 1833 what the Argentines attempted to do in 1982. But you know what would have prevented the 1982 conflict? If the British would just bucking NEGOTIATE like the UN Special Committee on Decolonization has repeatedly asked them to. Oh, WAIT, the British don’t attend the UN Special Committee on Decolonization because they still want their 19th century Empire.
