I said to him that “Down with Mares Against Interspecies Romance,” meaning Spike is disputing those who actively oppose interspecies romance, which in turn means he supports interspecies romance, which of course is due to his feelings for Rarity.
But Gekkan keep saying it’s friggin hypocritical even though he doesn’t know the meaning of the word. ;)
I’m quite sure Mr. D8CE is consciously trying to sound stupid. The message on Spike’s sign is very clear. That is, of course, unless D8CE simply has a learning disability, in which case he/she can be forgiven for making the mistake.

He’s not “like a gay guy who opposes same sex marriage even though he’s gay who like to have a same sex relationship.” He’s “like a guy who supports interspecies romance because he’s a guy who would like to have an interspecies relationship,” which makes sense. He’s not opposing interspecies romance at all.

Really? After I read the sign, when I think about it, does it make it kinda hypocrisy for spike when he’s still have a crush on rarity?
It’ll be something like:
Spike: Rarity, I’m inlove with you, would you like to go on the date with me?
Rarity: OH spikey, I would like to go on the date with you, but I can’t because thanks to your law, I’m not allowed to fall inlove a person who isn’t a pony. You’re a dragon, so I can’t fall for different species unless you’re a pony.
