Oh gosh, I wouldn’t wish that hell on anyone. The moon isn’t nearly as gross. In fact, it’s bone-dry, got no known organics, and is sterile (and doesn’t have gross associations like a bathroom stall does…) :q
Just as much like banishing a janitor to a bathroom stall would be.
“It’s always such a pleasure.
Remember how you tried to kill me twice.
Oh how we laughed and laughed.
Except I wasn’t laughing.”
What’s funny is this (lyrics to the song) actually happened, except it was
LunaNightmare Moon trying to kill Celestia. And Nightmare Moon actually was laughing, both times. On a grimdark note, though, I can’t help but remember that the earliest cases of shaming with a sign like this that I can think of were || hanging victims: “Pirates beware” signs. Though I guess even way before that, they put a superscription over Christ’s cross with his accusation “king of the Jews”, || implying that shaming criminals with a sign of their crime was done all the way back then, but typically only for capital punishment?
I hope Luna’s not being executed, here. Celestia seemed pretty darn loving and welcoming to her return in S1E2 :p
as 1000 years ago, the story is likely to be repeated….
They already confirmed that if she made it night for ever plants wouldn’t grow and everyone would starve, so that’s a pretty big issue.
Otherwise, though, as far as actual canon is concerned, I think this is downplayed as a factor and it was more Luna becoming Nightmare Moon and tormenting pones
