Just re-read that, and realised you didn’t read my own description right when it came to the character’s hair style.
The main part of the hair was just really long and straight, (on the human-style version it reached the backs of her knees), but two parts of it were tied up as pony tails. (Similar to pig-tails, but not stuck out to the sides).
It could be a bit of a pain to draw on a pony. Looked good on the human version.

As I stated, the character in question is basically a ponified version of a character I created ages ago.
That character actually from a race that has wings, and is a figurehead close combat master for that race.
The hair style was very specific, as was the colour scheme.
Given the reaction to many OCs here, I don’t know if I’ll bother unless I’m short on ideas.
Got 7-8 requests already to sort out from here >>953401

Heh, guess I sound a bit like that, not saying everyone hates it, or that I am super original, just from my point of vieuw, about all I get is bashing… but yea.. let’s all stick to what we like, no?
@40kponyguy
If I might make a few suggestions? It sounds like you’ve got a decent concept, but your execution could be improved.
I think you’re adding too much to this character without thinking about how it all fits together.
So here’s a few questions to consider:
-Why is this character a pegasus? Would her character be somehow incompatible with a form that doesn’t have wings? There’s a surplus of pegasus OCs out there, and a lack of earth ponies. Therefore, your character would actually stand out more (in a beneficial way) if it were an earth pony.
-Would green eyes, a purple mane, and a white coat really be the best palette for this pony, or for a fighter in general?
+While fuschsia and lime can work together as compliments, they’re not really great bases for a color scheme. Like red and green, they’re just too… inharmonious. Then white’s just an accent. Something with a focus on red (or rather, pink, since ponies work best in lighter shades) and/or one of its analogs (eg, purple or orange) would be good for sending the signal that this pony is powerful, but an analogous color scheme would work better than complimentary, and ideally, you’d leave out any neutrals like white. Ponies are colorful. Neutral colors are not.
+The show has shown us that very few ponies have white coats, and the vast majority of those that do are unicorns. Why is this character’s coat white?
-What’s the difference between “two ponytails with a long, flowing mane” and long pigtails?
+But seriously. Isn’t that just pigtails?
@PhantomVeil
Well, I tried.
The idea for this character just screams ‘edgy’ (dark look, scars, black and red mane, Decepticon logo cutie mark (certainly wouldn’t have been my choice but it’s your OC, so your choices))
I do have an idea for my own OC, but I still haven’t drawn her yet.
Pegasus, white coat, purple mane and tail, green eyes. Fighter type character, so I’d put bladed weapons on her front legs.
The mane is the big thing that’d set her apart. Very long, and tied in 2 pony tails, as well as a normal long flowing mane.
It’s based on a character I did years ago for a completely unrelated story.
Only a couple of other pictures of this OC on here that I could use for reference.
This one >>533032 (Pony creator version which didn’t do well here)
And this one >>533038 (Which at least got a positive score, if not a good one)

Forgot to mention, the armour colour for that race is white with gold highlights- hence the white coat.

I guess you can lead a horse to water.

That sounds legit awesome, and it’s sad how artists are more open to my OC then the comunity

Thank you
wow, there’s hate on me already…
The art’s passable. I’m downvoting for the badly designed character.

So…. Not expecting this one to do too well.
