Damn, I never considered that second question. Maybe because there’s a small chance someone who’s hetero might realize they’re gay, but chances are someone who’s already realize they’re gay won’t go back. And that’s all assuming we’re 100% sure the person is gay.

second: why is it ok to ship hetros as gay but shipping gay as hetro is wrong? is it part of your overprotection for gay people?
Quite a few people believe it doesn’t exist, and that the people who claim they are could just be in denial or trying to be able to pass as hetero if needed. Combined with the fact most people will only see you with someone of one gender and won’t get the chance to see you ‘prove’ your bisexuality, and the fact that the ‘in denial’ prediction can turn out to be true (nowacking is a prominent example), some people can make a convincing-sounding case why it doesn’t actually happen.
They’re wrong, though, but they probably haven’t seen your girlfriend break up with you to go make out with her ‘best friend’ ten minutes later.
