Well, I meant “haven’t watched” as in haven’t purposefully watched them fully. I saw quite a few on TV while I had nothing better to do and before Internet became my #1 entertainment source. Suffice to say that ever since I haven’t Googled or watched them online even once.

Do you seriously think that’s what I meant? I just didn’t know how the whole genre with schoolgirls fighting evil and having makeovers is called so I called it a soap opera hinting at how overdone and common the trope is.
 
I didn’t mean it as an ACTUAL soap opera, nor have I watched a single one of these due to how boring and predictable they are.

I have never seen a comment on an anthro image before on Derpibooru, DA, or Furaffinity saying they didn’t like it solely because it was anthro, out of principle and not circumstance.
 
I mean, I know most everything has at least a few people that don’t like it, but anthros literally never occurred to me to be one of them.

I am all for diversity and such but this right here has gone too far and starts to look more like an extinction rather than diversity.
 
I was content enough to just ignore this process in the past before the flow of anthro pics surpassed the flow of normal pony pics. Almost all 3 top-day scoring pics are anthro or humanizations and this sh*t is literally EVERYWHERE even though the fandom is called My Little PONY.
 
I blocked most of it but still occasionally get pics like this one and it makes me sad to realize that if I were to disable the filter, I would see the slow decay of this once beautiful place and people who support the downfall of the fandom without even realizing it. No wonder most big projects and best artists left the fandom right after everything went downhill. I’m actually contemplating leaving it as well as it is just to heart-wrenching to see something you love get slowly corrupted and destroyed like this =(

That is some purist talk if I ever heard any. One thing I love about this fandom is the content and variety. You have lots artists with unique styles and pieces. There’s at least something for everyone. Let the creators create and do what they want. As for the fandom’s downfall, I disagree since there’s still hundreds of non-anthro art still being produced.  
You can still enjoy your normal equine art.
 
Now as for this image, I find the soles on hooves pretty cute on Rarity. I feel like tickling her.

And no, I don’t hate humans in G1 because they were an ADDITION to ponies rather than a complete replacement we see in Equestria Girls and other humanized/anthropomorphic stuff.
 
I know that a lot of “bronies” like anthro. That doesn’t change my opinion about them being in the wrong fandom or the hate (yes, hate) I feel towards them when they try to convert it even further into yet another featureless anthro scum. It’s like being a “fan” of a rare genre of music and yet converting it more and more into some wide-spread one and sacrificing all uniqueness that made it stand out. What is the point in such behavior?

Sorry, but a lot of people here do enjoy human and/or anthro characters in their MLP art (be it EqG, G1, generic human/anthro, or something else entirely). Try filtering out the tags: Human, Anthro. That should help ya, to start with. :)
