Right About Everything

Honestly I don’t know what Chrysalis everyone else is remembering. She spins a half decent plan, but once it comes down to a personal confrontation she almost always loses embarrassingly.

Part of what I like about her is her ability to stagger upright after a loss, go ‘that didn’t count!’ and try again. She might not be the most powerful, but her stubborn refusal to be redeemed or disheartened is quite admirable really.

Villain decay for poor Chrysalis.

Let’s do keep in mind here that Chrysalis herself said the whole fight scene in this issue was a false operation, a mere distraction to allow Radiant to sneak into the castle. She was not intending to actually defeat Twilight and co. (well, at least I think so until Twilight made that remark about her age) and is clearly smirking with smug knowledge that her part in the grand plan was actually successful.
