And thats exactly what Rainbow Dash is confused about when she they appear for the first time in my stories. It’s something i address in the second of the three Wonderbolt stories (the first two are much shorter and unfortunately, older/in dire need of reworking and editing). This is something people say to me a lot… im well aware of that, but i don’t fully follow show canon in my universe. I acknowledge all in show events up through the end of season three, but i tweaked and changed a lot of things.
You know that the Shadowbolts were actually Nightmare Moon manifesting herself as three dark Wonderbolts, right?
Would you believe me if i told you it was an accident? xD
This story has taught me to be modest with story outlines. I thought it was going to be 250000 words and around 30 chapters, but now it’s past 100 chapters and closing in on a million words (not including the two fics that come before it, or the rest of the smaller fics in the universe.) I’m sticking to my outline… but i hilariously underestimated the length i’d need to get all of my ideas to paper O_o
Also, i know a lot of art has been going up from my fic lately, but i’d like to clarify the only art i commission is from this artist and from an artist named Chiweee, who is a friend of mine. Since all of the fan art has been appearing here recently i’ve been accused on more than one occasion of endlessly commissioning hundreds of artists just for the fic, but everything outside of those two artists was a fan art gift from a reader. To show my thanks i like to include fan art in the story as well if it fits. (All the anthro pics i posted recently were caricatures of my characters, it wasn’t for the story itself)
To the poster of all the art: while i appreciate the gesture the reason i left a lot of the fan art off is because a lot of it is from aspiring/young/new artists, and i didn’t want their gifts to be torn apart by the rather critical nature of this site. (such as a small pencil drawing i got from a ten year old). It’s not my place to say what you can and can’t post, i was just a little concerned about it.
But don’t get me wrong, it’s cool to see there’s enough art posted for there to be a tag for my fic :)
As lucky said, Descent’s design is based off the male shadowbolts in the first episode, so he’s a psuedo-OC ;D

Descent isn’t an OC… We’ll, his backstory is. He’s one of the Shadowbolts who approached Dash way back in the beginning.
