Well, many will draw characters from stuff they hate for money, so it’s not that hypocritical. Some just need casheroo. (Or an excuse to draw big bewbs.) He used to be a huge fan/brony, but something about the Season 2 finale being too “toy commercial,” and goddess Lauren Faust leaving the show, suddenly made him 1080*. Considering how short-tempered he can be about it, it’s surprising he’ll draw anything from it, especially EqGirls. (Which he hated with a passion.)
 
What I find odd is, he always says he hates MLP:FiM now for being a “toy commercial,” and such, yet still loves other cash-cow shows/movies, (TMNT, and “How to Train Your Dragon” for example) and draws stuff from other toy-etic cartoon shows. (Even obscure 1980s ones, nobody remembers.)
 
Still, CR drama is old news.

See, this is what pisses me off. These people, who said that they are not into the show, and make some fairly well for commissioners when they explicitly said that they hated the show now. What a hypocrite.

These 3 were commissions so he was payed to draw ‘em.
 
Kinda surprising still, considering normally you can’t even joke with CR now about anything pony he hates it so much now.

Well, that’s unexpected.
 
As to the art itself, the impossibly tiny waist, muscular legs, and odd face are too reminiscent of American superhero comics for my taste (positively Liefeldian).
