I just realized just how sad this comparison actually is. Human Twi talks to her Spike in the same manner as Pony Twi talks to hers, but this one never gets a response.
i was going for “oh sorry about that spike <cuddles>” kind of affection scene. while she does that here, she didn’t know she accidentally hit spike with the door.
Look at Pony!Twilight in S01E01. Literally the same scene happened, and she’s shown to be affectionate to her dragon.
it was purely accidental but you do wonder why they added it in the first place (she didn’t even notice so it’s not to point out how affectionate she is to her dog)
Oh-no, they’re mad at the writers allowing this.
