@RIG Touché, though I have contacts with dealers that cut those prices down too. But you are right, constantly upgrading a computer is more expensive in the long run than a console. I have a passion for computer building, thus I don’t mind the expense.
 
That being said, I have nothing against consoles or the people that play them. I have both an Xbox 360 and a PS3, as well as a PC and a Laptop, thus I love gaming on its myriad of platforms :)

And the reason I’m a PC gamer is that PC games here in NZ aren’t twice the price that console games are compared to their american prices (even after taxes/shipping/licensing are accounted for)

The only thing I hate about the PS3 is that it’s STILL ludicrously expensive to get hold of one even now. And that SONY used the BluRay format to artificially inflate sales by being the only BD player on the market for over a year.

And that’s why I’m a PC gamer…

In theory I loathe the PS3 and any Sony console, but I’m really all bluster. I’ll happily sit down and play just about anything you put in front of me.

So where does this leave multi-platform gamers? I currently have and use all 4 (Wii, PS3, 360, PC). Though personally I love of the concept behind Steam’s Big Picture.

Now all we need is someone advocating PC and this could be just like a real live /v/ thread.

People mad that Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive probably has something to do with it.

Pinkie does seem to have the right idea, so many games made today are focused on graphics, storytelling, and advertising that they forget to make the game fun to play.

So why, precisely, is everyone posting stuff about gaming? E3 was three months ago, wouldn’t it make more sense to post your gaming-related meta posts then?
